Don
Pronounce "Mostrom" with a long "O" after the "M". This is the Minnesota pronunciation of Don and Paul's last name. It sounds like "more strum" as spoken in Frank's homeland.
Don and Frank started the band in the early 90s after the first No Shame Talent Show at the Unitarian Church in Des Moines. Don sings lead on many of the tunes played by the band. He plays the guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, 5-string banjo, 4-string banjo, banjolin, bass, virtual kazoo, glass jug, and anything else he finds lying around.
Don builds a pretty fine home brew beer. He is also know to build
musical instruments and can be held accountable for the majority of
the instruments played by the band. This is an "in-progress photo of
a 12-string guitar he recently made for Frank.
Don is married to Etta. And he is Paul's brother.
Everyone knows that Frank thinks he is the leader of the band (the "leader" reference is a quintessential example of an oxymoron).
